Critical location change of Active Certification Services LLC dba ACS W3 Solutionz (California – United States of America) to W3 Solutionz FZE dba ACS W3 Solutionz (Abu Dhabi – United Arab Emirates)

Mid of year 2019, ACTIVE CERTIFICATION SERVICES LLC DBA ACS W3 SOLUTIONZ decided to transfer the accreditation to its partner W3 Solutionz FZE – UAE and over the next few months the critical location for IAS accreditation will be transferred to W3 Solutionz FZE – UAE. By this both the business will complement to deliver an improved experience for all of our customers, both existing and new.

We have provided below further information to help ACTIVE CERTIFICATION SERVICES LLC DBA ACS W3 SOLUTIONZ customers understand more about the changes and how this location transfer will affect them and their business.

Q: I am an existing customer – will my certificate be re-issued under the W3 Solutionz FZE dba ACS W3 Solutionz brand?

A: Unless you tell us otherwise, by the 15 October 2019 deadline, we will transfer your certificates to W3 Solutionz FZE dba ACS W3 Solutionz and you will receive your W3 Solutionz FZE dba ACS W3 Solutionz certificate by the end of November 2019. Initially W3 Solutionz FZE dba ACS W3 Solutionz will issue an unaccredit certificate to you and once accreditation transfer process competed by IAS than an accredited certificate will be issued. During this process W3 Solutionz FZE ACS W3 Soolutionz will follow its contracted terms (for surveillance / recertifications) with all client.

Q: My website and marketing materials feature the ACTIVE CERTIFICATION SERVICES LLC DBA ACS W3 SOLUTIONZ certificate and branding – do I need to change these over?

A: We understand that both you and your customers value your ISO Certification and that being able to demonstrate your certification through the use of ‘certification Marks’ helps with conveying the quality of your business. However, we also understand that changing the logos over from ACTIVE CERTIFICATION SERVICES LLC DBA ACS W3 SOLUTIONZ to W3 Solutionz FZE dba ACS W3 Solutionz may be quite some undertaking, especially where you have printed items or used the marks in more permanent locations (e.g. vehicles). Given this we want to do all we can to support these objectives and we will therefore be taking the following measures:

  • We have updated the ACTIVE CERTIFICATION SERVICES LLC DBA ACS W3 SOLUTIONZ website with a new, combined logo, to reflect the relationship between the two brands and provided a prominent notice together with a link to a page containing details of the transfer of accreditation and its implications.

You will receive a separate communication once access has been granted.

  • any non-digital items (including vehicles) are changed as part of a rolling change as/when items come up for re-printing/renewal after the end of November. There is not a deadline for this.
  • any digital items are changed by the end of December 2019, if at all possible (where it can be done without cost). Otherwise, at the soonest cost-free convenient opportunity. If maintaining the ACS digital branding on your website we suggest the logo links to this page, which explains the relationship between the two brands.

Q: What will happen if I do not confirm my agreement to the transfer or make alternative arrangements by the deadline of 15th October?

A: If we have not received a confirmation from you by 15th October, we will assume that you do not object to the transfer of your certificate(s) to W3 Solutionz FZE dba ACS W3 Solutionz. In this case we will arrange for you to receive your new certificate(s) by the end of November 2019.

Q: Will your prices change?

A: We do not have plans to change the standard pricing for the services you currently receive. In time, we may offer you alternative services to complement those you currently receive; however, you should continue to enjoy the same services and pricing for the foreseeable future.

Q: Will my auditor change?

A: We are keen to maintain, as much as possible, all of your existing infrastructure and contacts. Therefore, except in exceptional circumstances, or where it suits both parties, you will be able to continue working with your existing auditor.
